Ducks, trousers and Darcy

So, the fans hath spoketh, and the fans hath said this:

Great expectations you have there, I'd say! Darcy, ducks and trousers! A perfect combination of happiness, please accept my sincere congratulations on your sublime taste!

I'm disappointed though that some of you are not loyal to spinsterhood (I hope at least the weddings are not in autumn) and even more disappointed that my fantastic suggestion (namely hanboks) to solve the great big trouser crisis torturing all of us is not really supported. Well. At least you like chips!

See you soon with new scenes from my amazingly adventurous life, until then, why don't you drown into the important question of ducks, trousers and good ol’ Mr. Darcy.

One of my favourite webcomics I regularly check out is Sandra and Woo. It is funny, witty, and well, it's starring a talking racoon, which is, let's be honest, kinda guarantees something cool and awesome. And if you've ever wondered who's to blame for my pony-related posts, well, noone else, but the author of this comic who's been nice enough to let their fans know how amazing My Little Pony – Friendship Is Magic is. But for those of you who prefer German to English, I have good news as well: es gibt auf Deutsch auch (and even with these few german words I've proven which version do I prefer…)

So when they announced a fanart contest, it was pretty obvious that I'm applying. And I decided to do it my way. If you read the story from the beginning (and you really should, because it's much more fun that way), you'll find a strip when Sandra (the little girl who's the owner of Woo, the racoon) finds out about her pet's “hidden talent”. I thought it'd be funny to imagine a similar situation in my room, in my 365IP world.

So that is briefly the story of today's irregular daily-drawing.

UPDATE:
I've won. A lot of new visitors by this:

Welcome everyone! :)

You know the feeling when you say “If only it was my idea!” But it's not, and it's so tempting not to inform others about it… but you simply can't.

That's exactly the case with today's dailydrawing. The original idea of the whole scene – waiting in some moderately nice dress for the fictional man of your dreams, with a ton of cupcakes and a huge welcome-banner – well, I have to admit, it is not my invention. Applause for the – I think brilliant – artwork of “Stay for Lunch?” (yhea, that's a name):

Still, you know... Darcy is way too mainstream.

(As much as I think doing 365IP in English is way more practical than in my original language, there still will be Hungarian phrases or words sometimes. The reason is simple: I am Hungarian, I speak Hungarian, my cat speaks Hungarian -- by the way, she's saying "Meow" --, so sometimes it just makes it more alive in my opinion. These are not very important words or sentences tho, you can perfectly understand the essence of the picture without it anyway.)
